9:27. മറ്റുള്ളവരോടു പ്രസംഗിച്ചശേഷം ഞാൻ തന്നേ കൊള്ളരുതാത്തവനായി പോകാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു എന്റെ ശരീരത്തെ ദണ്ഡിപ്പിച്ചു അടിമയാക്കുകയത്രേ ചെയ്യുന്നതു.

9:27. Instead I subdue my body and make it my slave, so that after preaching to others I myself will not be disqualified.

9:27. I discipline my body like an athlete, training it to do what it should. Otherwise, I fear that after preaching to others I myself might be disqualified.
